Nursing Assistant Course # NAT 100
Nurse Assistant Training is a 101 hour training program, including 80 hours of classroom training, (45 hours of class instruction and 35 in clinical skills lab), and 21 hours at Bear Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. After successful completion of this training program, the student is qualified to take the state nurse aide exam. Nurse assistants can work in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, hospices, and home health care. This nurse assistant program is approved by Department of Public Health. (DPH) and is Licensed as a Private Occupational School by Department of Professional Licensure. (DPL)
Home Health Aide Course # HHA 100
This is an. 80 hour training program, including 80 hours of classroom training, (45 hours of class instruction and 35 in clinical skills
lab). This program qualifies the graduate to work at Visiting Nurse Associations, Hospices, and Home Health Care Agencies.
